PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device for easily and inexpensively connecting an earth retaining wall and a banking reinforcing material or the banking reinforcing materials to each other in a reinforced earth structure using a mesh sheet like reinforcing material. SOLUTION: This connecting device with a bottom part formed in approximately U-shape in the acting direction of earth pressure is formed of a plurality of locking parts provided at equal spaces in a right-angled direction to the bottom part, and a pair of parallel horizontal lines. The locking part of the connecting device is inserted from the mesh of the banking reinforcing material and the earth retaining wall formed in lattice shape with vertical members extending along the acting direction of earth pressure, and horizontal members fixed intersecting the vertical members, and a locking pin is inserted through the locking part of the connecting device to connect the earth retaining wall and the banking reinforcing material, or the banking reinforcing materials to each other.
