PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the downsizing, the elevation of driving force, and the increase in amount of operation of a movable rod. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic driver is equipped with the movable rod 2 which is magnetized so that both axial ends 2a and 2b may be different magnetic poles and one end of which 2a serves as a driving part for a driven part 7, and the first electromagnetic coil body 5 and the second electromagnetic coil body 6 wherein the ends 2a and 2b of the movable rod 2 are set in bobbin holes 10 and 13. These first electromagnetic coil body 5 and second electromagnetic coil body 6 are supplied with driving currents in different direction from a drive current supply part 4 thereby generating magnetic fields of mutually different magnetic poles in the active region of the movable rod 2, and the movable rod 2 is driven by the magnetic attraction and the magnetic repulsion working between them and the magnetic poles of the movable rod 2.
