摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst structure which is capable of reliably forming a coating film of titanium oxide having water soluble photocatalytic activity on a hydrophobic base material and has the large photocatalytic activity and excellent hydrophilicity. <P>SOLUTION: In the photocatalyst structure, the surface of the hydrophobic film base material 1 is made to be hydrophilic according to a foundation layer 2, a middle layer 3 made of titanium oxide which is water-soluble and photo-catalytically inactive is formed on the hydrophilic foundation layer 2 by covalent bond and a photocatalyst layer 4 made of titanium oxide which is water-soluble and photo-catalytically active is formed on the middle layer 3 by covalent bond. Therefore, the photocatalyst layer 4 made of titanium oxide which is water-soluble and photo-catalytically active can be simply formed on the hydrophobic film base material as the uniform and reliable coated film and, as a result, a photocatalyst film having excellent photocatalytic activity and hydrophilicity can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
