PURPOSE: A method of making low calorie, high fiber content dietary food products using dietary fiber such as red ginseng fiber, psyllium husk, silk amino acid, Ulmi Cortex, dried gourd shavings or the like is provided. The product is effective in prevention and treatment of adult disease while sufficiently supplying nutrients necessary for human health. CONSTITUTION: Based on the total weight of wheat dough, 80 to 90% by weight of wheat flour, 1.5 to 2.5% by weight of salt, 1.5 to 2.5% by weight of silk amino acid, 1.5 to 2.5% by weight of Ulmi Cortex, 1.5 to 2.5% by weight of dried gourd shavings and 2 to 3% by weight of insoluble dietary fiber are mixed and kneaded with 5 to 7% by weight of water. The dough is extruded with a noodle extruder, dried and then cut. The insoluble dietary fiber uses one or two or more of red ginseng fiber, psyllium husk or oat seed husk. The total amount of Ulmi Cortex and dried gourd shavings is 4% by weight or less. |
