The invention concerns the field of making semiconductor transformers of solar energy. A method for producing plates for solar elements from multicrystalline silicon consists in that before cutting briquettes into plates they are annealed and cooled. The invention allows to increase plates output due to the reduction of amount of plates having cracks and cleavages.
