AGING METHOD AND DEVICE OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any crack from occurring in a plasma display panel in an aging process. SOLUTION: In the aging process in which a display drive is carried out by applying a prescribed voltage to the plasma display panel 1 having a display region (inside region of the boundary line 26) in which an image is displayed, and a non-display region (outside region of the boundary line 26) in which the image is not displayed, the non-display region is made to be heated. Overheating of the non-display region is carried out by electric heating wires 21 installed at electrode bars 20a, 20b, 20c to apply the prescribed voltage by contacting an electrode terminal of the plasma display panel 1.
