PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that optimal printing attributes effective for resource saving and sustenance of legibility can be easily set up without relying on the help of a user. SOLUTION: In the printing process device 30, a printing attribute setting up part 33 monitors whether a cost corresponding to a reduction rate of print resources used in printing is assigned, when resource-saving oriented printing of some documentary information is instructed by a user using a client terminal, e.g., a printing request screen shown in a display part of the client terminal of 10a. Further, when the said cost is assigned, the printing attribute setting up part 33 automatically sets up the printing attributes to the documentary information instructed for printing which can be printed within the range of the assigned cost, referring to information stored in a printing attribute/cost management table 341.
