<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a low-loss oxide magnetic material having a reduced core loss. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the low-loss oxide magnetic material which comprises 52.5-53.5 mol% Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 35.0-45.0 mol% MnO and the balance being ZnO as essential components and 0.005-0.05 wt.% SiO<SB>2</SB>, 0.01-0.1 wt.% CaO and 0.01-0.1 wt.% Nb<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>as accessory components, the temperature T (K) and the oxygen concentration P (%) during a cooling process from a retention temperature to 1,000°C in a sintering step satisfy the relation: logP=a/T+b (wherein a is the gradient within the range of from -6,000 to -18,000; and b is a value uniquely calculated from the retention temperature, a retention oxygen concentration and the gradient a). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
