<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous fluorescent ink for mailing system giving an image with high fluorescence intensity and water resistance, and capable of forming printed image with preferable discharging stability and blinding of nozzle, an ink unit using the ink, an ink cartridge using the same, ink jet recording method and an inkjet recording device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to the aqueous fluorescent ink comprising at least a fluorescent dye exciting in ultraviolet range and light emitting in visible range and a pigment, wherein the pigment is a dispersion type pigment on which a nonionic surfactant or an anionic surfactant is adsorbed on the surface of it.
