PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation system of a low temperature type fuel cell capable of effectively eliminating water generated inside a cell while making the advantages of the "low temperature operation", preventing the occurrences of adverse effects resulted from stagnated water. SOLUTION: The low temperature type fuel cell system, configured so that the fuel electrode exhaust fuel and air electrode exhaust air exhausted from a low temperature type fuel cell stack 2 is supplied to a reformer 12 through pipe lines 211, 221 to produce reformed gas by burning the exhaust fuel and air by the burner 12b thereof and feed it to a fuel electrode 22, is provided with an exhaust gas suction blower 51 exhausting combustion exhaust gas in a reformer furnace. The water produced in the stack 2 can be vaporized and exhausted by turning the pressure in the furnace of a reformer main body 12a and the stack 2 into negative pressure (pressure by which water is vaporized at a cell operation temperature) lower than the atmospheric pressure by the exhaust force from the blower 51.
