<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar generator control system which enables charging to a storage battery by the power obtained from a solar cell, and can effectively utilize the power in the storage battery and secure the expected battery life time. <P>SOLUTION: This system performs the charge from the solar cell 2 to the storage battery 4, in a time zone when the power consumption of important load 6 is small in early morning. This detects the overcharge arrival frequency N in thin charge time, and when the overcharge arrival frequency N is within a specified range, this keeps the present discharge depth; and when it is under the specified range, this sets the discharge depth to be shallow, and when it is over the specified range, this controls the discharge depth. Hereby, this controls the discharge depth of the storage battery 4 into an optimal state, according to the quantity of power generated by the solar cell, that is, the change of seasons. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
