POLYMER LATEX FOR WHITE PAPERBOARD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer latex for a white paperboard having excellent glossiness and gloss unevenness preventing effects after coating a coated white paperboard with an ultraviolet curing type resin and curing the resin as surface processing. SOLUTION: The polymer latex has ≥3.0 swelling degree of a dried film with methyl acetate and >0°C glass transition temperature in the polymer latex used as a pigment binder of the coated white paperboard. Thereby, the polymer latex has effects on suppression of surface processing unevenness and raising of gloss of the surface of the white paperboard subjected to the surface processing with the ultraviolet curing type resin.
