<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil strainer capable of surely holding a wave-shaped filter material by reducing a flow resistance of the oil. <P>SOLUTION: The oil strainer has an upper body 15 having an outflow mouth 16, a lower body 13 having an inflow mouth 14 and a filter plate 1 positioned between both the bodies. The filter plate consists of a base frame 2 hollowed in an central part, the filter material 3 molded in a shape of wave and a holding part 4 made of a synthetic resin wherein the above filter material is projected to a lower body side to be held with a liquid dense condition, peripherally in the base frame including both the wave-shaped end sides. In this holding part made of the synthetic resin, in a wave-shaped end side of the filter material, a space of a dirty side S1, being formed between continuous wave shapes, is opened and a space of a clean side S2 is blocked, and in the other wave-shaped end side of the filter material, each space of the dirty side and the clean side being formed between continuous wave shapes, is blocked together. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
