PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve allowing more accurate control of flow passing through a valve part by regulating the relation between the moving quantity of a valve element in a separating direction from a valve seat, and the flow passing through the valve part. SOLUTION: This valve has the valve part 5 for opening/closing a passage 4, in the passage 4 in a valve casing 1 having a fluid inlet part 2 and a fluid outlet part 3. The valve part 5 comprises a valve seat part 7 having a cylindrical valve hole 6 opened, and a valve seat 7a formed with a small diameter part in the inner peripheral surface of an inner part, and the valve element 8 reciprocated in the axial direction of the valve hole 6 of the valve seat part 7 to abut on and separate from the valve seat 7a provided in the inner part of the valve hole 6. The inner peripheral surface of the valve hole 6 on the abutting/separating direction side of the valve element 8 from the valve seat 7a of the valve seat part 7 is formed in a tapered surface 10 whose inner diameter R has such a dimension that a clearance area S between the valve element 8 and the inner peripheral surface of the valve hole 6 is proportional to a separation distance L of the valve element 8 from the valve seat 7a.
