<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose coupling of simple structure ensuring tightness of connection between a hose and a pipe independently of thermal aging and permanent deformation or dents of a hose material under the clamping pressure. <P>SOLUTION: In the hose coupling with a clamp 2 which can be clamped around a longitudinal axis 1, the edges 3 of the clamp 2 are located closer to the longitudinal axis 1 than an area 4 of the clamp 2 located between the edges 3. An end portion 6 of the pipe 5 is provided with a circumferential holding rib 9, and the clamp 2 can be clamped on the hose above the holding rib 9 so that the hose 8 is secured between the holding rib 9 and the clamp 2.
