<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a measurement time by using a personal mode, to relieve burden on a user in measurement, and to enhance measurement precision. <P>SOLUTION: A hemodynamometer 10 includes: a cuff 11 to be wound around the artery passage part of the user; a pressurization pump 12 for pressurizing the cuff; and a pressure sensor 14 for detecting in-cuff pressure. Then a pulse wave signal to be superimposed on pressure which is detected by the pressure sensor in a process to slowly reduce the pressure of the cuff is discriminated, so as to determine a blood pressure value, based on the pulse wave signal and a pressure value. Thus, the blood pressure value is measured. The hemodynamometer 10 has the personal mode to be used by a specified user, where a measurement condition (a pressure value, and a slow pressure reduction velocity, etc.) when the blood pressure value of the specified user is measured and a blood pressure determination condition for determining the maximal blood pressure value and minimal value of the specified user are set based on the past measurement result of the specified user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
