<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overheat prevention structure of a liquid crystal monitor which suppresses heating by reducing luminance of the liquid crystal monitor at the time of increase of internal temperature in order to avoid high temperature breakdown of the liquid crystal monitor of a construction equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The overheat prevention structure is composed of a temperature sensor S2 for detecting an internal temperature of the liquid crystal monitor, a judgement processing means 21 which obtains an upper limit luminance value corresponding to the internal temperature based on the internal temperature of the liquid crystal monitor detected by the temperature sensor, and compares the upper limit luminance value with the present established luminance of the liquid crystal monitor, and, when the upper limit luminance value exceeds the established luminance, makes the above upper limit luminance value a target luminance value, and when the upper limit luminance value is the established luminance value or less, maintains the established luminance, and an illumination control means 22 which controls the luminance of the liquid crystal monitor by controlling the backlight based on the target luminance value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
