PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely perform waveform determination for the signal waveform of an input signal having a sufficiently long time interval. SOLUTION: This device comprises a storage part storing waveform data for an input signal and area data, showing a determination area A1 set for the input signal; a control part reading waveform data and area data from the storage part for displaying the signal waveform W1 of the input signal and the determination area A1 on a display screen 11 of a display part 3, and executing a waveform determination for whether the signal waveform is out of the displayed determination area; and an operation part, capable of setting setting areas Aa and Ab including a part of the signal waveform W1 within the display screen 11. The control part displays, when the setting areas Aa and Ab are set, signal waveforms W2 and W3 of a part of the signal waveform W1, included in the setting areas Aa and Ab and corresponding determination areas A2 and A3 in divided display screens 13 and 14, in a state where they are extended in the time axial direction to execute the determination processing.
