PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper box for a merchandise coupon which stores the merchandise coupon of a department store, a beer coupon, a book coupon, a rice coupon or the like, and for which an assembling work and a storing work are easily performed. SOLUTION: The paper box for the merchandise coupon of the present invention is a flat rectangular parallelepiped-shaped box body 20 with an ordinary picture frame double wall type top face opened one which is prepared by successively continuously providing front, back, left and right side face plates 2, 2, 2 and 2, top picture frame plates 3, 3, 3 and 3, side face inner plates 4, 4, 4 and 4, and folding-back pieces 5, 5, 5 and 5 on respective front, back, left and right sides of a rectangular bottom face plate 21. In addition, a lid body 30 is prepared by continuously providing front, back, left and right side face inserting plates 9, 9, 9 and 9 on respective front, back, left and right sides of a rectangular lid face plate 31 provided with top face linking pieces 8 and 8 on at least front and back sides. The front, back, left and right side face inserting plates 9, 9, 9 and 9 folded down of the lid body 30 are inserted into the insides of the front, back, left and right side face inner plates 4, 4, 4 and 4 of this picture frame double wall type box body 20 to close the lid.
