PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for the production of soft to rigid polyurethane molded articles having a compressed shell and a cellular core without the use of physical blowing agents, which process can be carried out without explosion protection measures. SOLUTION: The process for the production of polyurethane molded articles having a compressed shell and a cellular core, so-called integral skin foams comprises reacting a polyol component with an isocyanate component which includes inorganic zeolites.
