PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing composite fine particles consisting of core parts and sheath parts having different main components from each other, by a simpler means and inexpensively. SOLUTION: This method for producing the composite fine particles is provided by cutting a sheath core type composite fiber 20 consisting of the core part consisting mainly of a synthetic resin and the sheath part consisting mainly of another synthetic resin having a higher glass transition temperature than that of the previous synthetic resin by a prescribed length.
