<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately judge whether the operation of each power unit in parallel operation states is normal or abnormal. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply system supplies power to common load 3 via a common load bus 2 by operating in parallel a plurality of power units 10a-10c each having a power converter 12a, a current detector 13a for detecting an output current, and a controller 14a for controlling the output voltage. The controller 14a in each power unit comprises an output voltage control means 15 which sends out the instruction of fixed output voltage to the power converter in a power unit that its own self belongs to, in answer to the start of parallel operation, an output voltage compensating means 16 which raises the instruction of output voltage outputted from the output voltage control means only for a certain inspection period, and abnormality judging means 22 and 21 which judge that the power unit 10a is abnormal when the output current at or over a preset specified value is not detected in the current detector in the inspection period when the instruction of the output voltage is raised. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
