PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a viewfinder with which a diopter-adjusting mechanism can be assembled, without contaminating a dioptor-adjusting lens and requiring difficult operations, in the viewfinder provided with the diopter-adjusting mechanism. SOLUTION: The viewfinder is provided with a dioptor adjusting mechanism, having a dioptor adjusting lens 90 to be assembled in an optical axis direction along a guide section provided in the inside of a cabinet 84, a spring member 100 for energizing this lens 90 in one direction, a dioptor adjustment operating member 102 to be assembled freely rotatably into this cabinet 84, and a cam mechanism configured between the lens 90 and the member 102. In this case, the dioptor adjusting mechanism is configured, in such a way that the member 102 is assembled into the cabinet 84, and then the spring member 100, the lens 90 are assembled to the cabinet 84.
