The housing accommodating the drive unit (11) and the mechanical parts is attached to a hollow shaft (6) positioned on top of a base (2) with its lower end. An electric drive is integrated in the base (2) moving a spindle nut permanently joined to the outer surface of an inner hollow shaft and touching the inner surface of the outer shaft (6). A spindle is vertically adjusted lifting or lowering the housing (11) by moving a traverse and a holding element. A cup spring located below the traverse acts as a friction clutch in combination with the nut.
