<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate weight, irrespective of the kind of a received signal. <P>SOLUTION: A correlation section 200 calculates a correlation value from a digital reception signal 300 and a predetermined signal. A reception vector calculating section 68 calculates a reception weight vector signal 312 by applying an LMS algorithm on the basis of a spread spectrum signal when the signal 300 corresponds to a spread spectrum system, and by applying the LMS algorithm on the basis of a signal in a time region when the signal 300 corresponds to an OFDM modulation system. A multiplying section 62 weights the signal 300 by the signal 312, and an adding section 64 adds an output of the section 62. A FFT section 202 applies FFT to a composite signal 304 and outputs a signal in a frequency region.
