PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an electronically-controlled type throttle valve requiring smaller costs compared to conventional devices and having excellent operating performance, in regard to the control device for the electronically-controlled type throttle valve. SOLUTION: In the control device for the electronically-controlled type throttle valve, the throttle valve is operated by a throttle actuator. The control device for the electronically-controlled type throttle valve is provided with a speed detection means for detecting engine speed, an accelerator depression amount detection means for detecting accelerator depression amount, a throttle valve opening detection means for detecting throttle valve opening amount, a map stored by a memory means, classifying engine operation states into a plurality of operation modes according to the engine speed and the accelerator opening and setting target throttle operating amount in accordance with the accelerator depression amount with respect to each operation mode, and a control unit for inputting a detection signal from each of the speed detection means, accelerator depression amount detection means and throttle opening detection means. The control unit identifies the operation modes of the engine based on the detection signal from each of the detection means, and operates the throttle valve based on the map of the identified operation modes.
