PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which can prevent a damage to a wall, furniture, or the like and breakage of an outer shell by absorbing an impact caused by collision with the wall, furniture, etc. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner has a protector having a foaming resin part exposed on its surface, so that the shape of the protector 26 is stabilized and the entire protector 26 is formed to be soft uniformly. Thus, the impact applied from the outside is received and absorbed uniformly.
