<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device by, for instance, an organic EL element for preventing face irregularity, black lift and deterioration of contrast in configuration driving a light emitting element by a transistor by source follower circuit configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The display device sets terminal voltage of a capacitor C2 for holding a signal level provided between gate sources by a signal level Vin of a signal line SIG when driving by current the light emitting element 12 by a transistor TR2 of the source follower circuit configuration, and offsets voltage between terminals set in the capacitor C2 for holding the signal level so as to lower gradation from reference voltage Vof by driving the light emitting element 12 by voltage between the gate sources by voltage between the terminals of the capacitor C2 for holding the signal level and connecting a source side end of the transistor TR2 to the reference voltage Vof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
