<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium, especially a heat mode type optical information recording medium, in which dust and dirt are hardly deposited on a hard coat layer and stable information recording and reproduction can be performed. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium is constituted of a recording layer, a light transmission layer and a hard coat layer on a substrate, wherein a ratio (Si/C)<SB>surface</SB>of a peak intensity of Si to a peak intensity of C obtained when the surface of the hard coat layer is measured by an X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is 0.001 to 0.1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
