<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reformer housing vessel which causes a small power generation loss, by preventing the conduction of heat generated in a fuel reformer to the housing vessel; and a fuel reforming device. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel reformer housing vessel 10 is equipped with the following: a base body 1 having a recessed part for housing a fuel reformer 8; a lid body 4 attached so as to cover the recessed part; a supply pipe 5a which penetrates at least either of the base body 1 and the lid body 4 so as to join its tip to the fuel reformer 8, fixes the fuel reformer 8 by floating it in the space between the lid body 4 and the bottom surface of the recessed part, and supplies a fuel to the fuel reformer 8; and a discharge pipe 5b which penetrates at least either of the base body 1 and the lid body 4 so as to join its tip to the fuel reformer 8, fixes the fuel reformer 8 by floating it in the space between the lid body 4 and the bottom surface of the recessed part, and discharges a reformed gas. The supply pipe 5a or the discharge pipe 5b is caused to pass through a penetration hole formed in the base body 1 or the lid body 4 and is bonded to the penetration hole via a sealing material 9 having a heat transfer coefficient of 10 W/m×K or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
