<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent a blemish on a case body and looseness of a door due to generation of rust or abrasion of a receiving metal member by fitting a simple and inexpensive part to a door lock mechanism of a switchboard. <P>SOLUTION: A door lock device for the switchboard includes a lever-shaped metal claw 4 connected to a rear end of an axis of a handle 3 fitted to the door 2 of the switchboard to work as a latch, and the receiving metal member 5 mounted on the case body 1 of the switchboard. The door is locked at its closed position by engaging the claw plate with the receiving metal member 5 by operating the handle. In the door lock device, a sheath-like protecting cap 9 made of a resin material like a nylon covers the front end of the claw plate 4. When the door is closed, the door is locked by engaging the claw plate with the receiving metal member by the intermediary of the protecting cap by operation of the handle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
