<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem with a recording medium with a plurality of built-in nonvolatile memories wherein, because the size of blocks to be deleted is increased by the number of nonvolatile memories operating in parallel inside, data must be stored in continuous vacant areas for the size of the deleted blocks in order to do fast recording. <P>SOLUTION: To record data in the recording media, vacant areas that do not cross the boundary between the blocks to be deleted are searched for and the data are recorded therein according to the value of a common multiple of the total size of the deleted block sizes in the nonvolatile memories and the data management size of a file system, whereby the data can be recorded in the recording medium at high speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
