The mass ratio buprenorphine to naloxone is in the range from 12.5:1 to 27.5:1, and the mass ratio buprenorphine to naltrexone or to nalmephene is in the range from 12.5:1 to 22.5:1. Compositions are prepared as the parenteral or sublingual medicinal formulation or as a medicinal formulation that can be delivered through mucosa.
