<p>The plasticized material is based on a substance of petro chemical, synthetic or vegetable origin suitable for plastification and incorporates an agent that accelerates its degradation. The degradation agent has two components - a vegetable-based solid absorbent material and an aqueous or viscous liquid or soluble solid. The first component is designed to carry a liquid into the heart of the material to facilitate its degradation by bacterial attack, and is made from ligneous fibres taken from the outer husks of coconuts. The degradation agent is incorporated in the basic material in a proportion of between 0.1 and 10 per cent, advancing its degradation by several weeks or months.</p> |
