PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method capable of shortening a construction period and construction time in extension/retrofitting work above a building without a wall. SOLUTION: The extension/retrofitting work is performed above a roof 4 by lowering the roof 4 by cutting and removing a part in the height direction of a column 3 for supporting the roof 4 of the building 1 without a wall.
