PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyacrylic acid-based medicinal, external patch preparation having a good shape-maintaining property even containing a basic local anesthetic, without showing a reverse surface blot to its supporting material side and the side protrusion of an ointment material, and further excellent in adhesion. SOLUTION: This medicinal, external patch preparation is characterized by containing an aqueous adhesive composition containing (A) a basic local anesthetic, (B) a polyacrylic acid and/or its salt, (C) a cross-linking agent and further (D) a carboxyvinyl polymer. Thereby, it is possible to provide the medicinal, external patch preparation, having a potent effect against pain or itchiness, having a good shape-maintaining property even containing the basic local anesthetic, without having the reverse surface blot to its supporting material side and the side protrusion of the ointment material and further excellent in adhesion.
