摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide zinc oxide-gallium oxide nanotubes expected to be utilized as a catalyst, a magnetic recording medium, high performance ceramics, microelectronics parts, etc., in various fields of electronics, optics and mechanics, etc., and to provide a method for manufacturing the same consisting of a simple process. SOLUTION: The zinc oxide-gallium oxide nanotubes are constructed such that the outer surfaces of gallium oxide nanotubes are coated with a layer of zinc oxide. In the method for manufacturing the same, a mixture of zinc oxide powder and gallium oxide powder is charged in a graphite crucible and heated in a flow of an inert gas at 1,200 to 1,500°C for 1.5 to 2 h.
