PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article aligning device capable of preventing formation of a bridge of carried articles due to collision with a distribution roller, and generation of noise. SOLUTION: A plurality of aligning and carrying passages 6 are formed on a carrying conveyor 1 by means of aligning guides 5 in parallel, a distribution roller 10 having a roller shaft 10a in a perpendicular direction is disposed in a perpendicular direction ahead of an upstream side end part of each aligning guide 5, and a carried article hit to the distribution roller 10 that is rotating is distributed to the aligning and carrying passage 6 in this article aligning device. The distribution roller 10 is integrated with a motor M connected to the roller shaft 10a to form a distribution roller unit, which is capable of oscillating in a carrying direction around a support point above a carrying surface of the carrying conveyor 1.
