PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament winding device usable for continuously and automatically manufacturing a filament such as a bunched yarn without failure in transferring the filament between reels and without giving ill effects to the yarn quality of the filament. SOLUTION: The filament winding device comprises the plurality of reels having a filament gripping member for winding the filament in a polygonal shape, a supporting shaft for gripping the reels to be rotated, a control device for controlling a motor to drive the supporting shaft, a traverse device for guiding the filament to the reels, a sensor for detecting rotating timings for the reels, and a cutter for cutting yarns transferred between the plurality of reels.
