PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction type powdery and granular material collector which prevents the occurrence of a gap between a material discharge opening and a lid caused by biting of powdery and granular material, and, additionally, has a simple structure. SOLUTION: A suction type powdery and granular material collector A which allows powder and grain materials to pool in a body accommodating part 1 by forming a material supply opening 2 in an upper part of the body accommodating part 1 and a material discharge opening 3 provided with a damper device 4 in a lower part thereof, closing the material discharge opening 3 and applying suction force from a gas suction opening 5 provided in place in the body accommodating part 1 to suck the powdery and granular materials from the material supply opening 2, wherein the damper device 4 is pivoted with a lid body 42 supported by an elastic member 41 on a predetermined fulcrum 43 in order to cover the material support opening 32, is provided, on one end thereof, with the lid body 42, and is provided, on the other end, with a drive arm 45 having a balance weight 44 and a stopper member 46 for regulating the balance of the drive arm 45 so that the lid body 42 is positioned below the material discharge opening 3 with a predetermined gap space t.
