PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously record on each of recording media in conditions optimum for the kinds of the media when an image is recorded on different kinds of recording media which are conveyed in multiple rows. SOLUTION: First and second droplet deposition conditions are respectively set corresponding to kinds of paper sheets A, B which are simultaneously conveyed by a multi-row conveyance section. Data of R, G, and B for each of the paper sheets A, B stored in a first frame memory 46 and a second frame memory 48 are converted to data indicative of an amount of each of inks of C, M, Y, and BK based on the set droplet deposition conditions (step S10, S40). Each of the amounts of inks of C and M is divided into amounts of high density ink and low density ink according to the divisional conditions of the high and low density inks (step S20, S50). The amount of each ink of each color is converted to droplet deposition data of the ink of each color according to a size of a deposited droplet or densities thereof in main and sub-scanning directions by each of paper sheets A, B to be stored in a droplet deposition memory 50.
