PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the bearing pressure applied to a stopper part. SOLUTION: A spiral groove is formed on the stopper part 17 of this cylinder head gasket 10. When a cylinder block and a cylinder head are fastened through the cylinder head gasket 10, a gas flow channel having an opening to a combustion chamber hole 20c and communicated with a space between a bead 13 and the stopper part 17, is formed between a stopper plate 16 and the bead plate 12. Whereby the pressure of the gas is reduced in stages in the gas flow channel radially adjacent to the stopper part 17, and the bearing pressure necessary for the stopper part 17 can be reduced.
