PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic steering device capable of being turned at a desired turning radius making a desired fixed point as a turning center without receiving an influence of an external factor such as a tidal current. SOLUTION: In order to solve the problem, an operator firstly designates a central position, the turning radius and the turning direction for turning, determines a tangent to a turning circle at the intersection of a linear line drawn from the turning center relative to an own vessel position and the turning circle having the designated turning radius, and controls the course of a vessel so as to approach to the tangent.
