A biosensor that can easily and quickly conduct a quantitative analysis of a specific content in a sample with a high precision and a method for manufacturing such a biosensor are provided. A biosensor that can be used for a highly precise quantitative analysis after a long storage, namely a biosensor with an excellent storage stability, and a method for manufacturing such a biosensor are also provided. The biosensor comprising an electric insulating substrate (1), an electrode part (2) formed on the substrate and having a working electrode (21) and a counter electrode (22), and a reaction part (4) fixed to an end of the electrode part (2) is characterized in that the reaction part is mainly made of an oxidoreductase, an electron acceptor, a fine crystalline cellulose powder, and a hydrophilic polymer composed of a hydrophilic segment and a hydrophobic segment.
