PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branching-type optical fiber bundle manufacturing bobbin that is used to manufacture a branching-type optical fiber bundle, on which primary coated optical fibers are uniformly distributed and light quantity distribution is made uniform, and to provide a branching-type optical fiber bundle manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The bobbin is provided with a cylindrical shape body 2, a first projecting section column which is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the body 2 and is made of plurality of projecting sections 4 and a second projecting section column which is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the main body 2, separated from the first projecting section column and is made of a plurality of projecting sections 5.
