PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and correctly perform an operation to select a message according to its significance/insignificance, to classify the message according to its contents, to grasp the change of the significance of the message while referring to the operations of the other transmitters/receivers, and to reduce any labor to process the message. SOLUTION: This message processing system is provided with: a message display part 155 for displaying a plurality of messages to be transmitted/received by a user; a message attribute setting part 153 for automatically or manually setting the attribute information of the message transmitted/received by the user at an arbitrary point of time; and a message attribute sharing means for sharing the attribute information set for the message by using the message attribute setting part 153 by each of the plurality of transmitters/receivers who have transmitted/received the message between the transmitters/receivers. The message display part 156 changes the display method of the message based on one or more pieces of attribute information designated by the user principal among the plurality of pieces of attribute information set by the plurality of transmitters/receivers including the user principal.
