PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent complication of a structure, in a scroll compressor 10 constituted so that at least one of a first scroll 21 and a second scroll 22 can be positionally adjusted in the axial direction or the radial direction. SOLUTION: This scroll compressor 10 has a position adjusting means for positinally changing at least one of the first scroll 21 and the second scroll 22 possessed by a compression mechanism 20 in the axial direction or the radial direction of the compression mechanism 20. The scroll compressor is constituted by using a deforming member 40 of changing in a shape by external output such as a high polymer actuator 40 as the position adjusting means.
