BAFFLE AND PARISON FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the occurrence of defective due to fins by preventing the fins of glass occurring between a baffle and a rough mold in a parison forming process of a glass vessel. SOLUTION: A cylindrical projecting part vertically projected downward is provided on the lower surface of baffle to form a forming surface for forming the bottom of parison on the projecting part. A cylindrical part into which the projecting part is inserted to be engaged with is formed on the upper part of a forming surface for forming the outer peripheral part of the parison. The fins of the glass is completely prevented by providing the cylindrical part in the rough mold to enlarge a space of the rough mold in which gob is housed and forming the projecting part and the cylindrical part into a vertical surface to prevent forming the fins of the glass between the baffle and the rough mold with the descending of the baffle.
