The bed (10) can be moved on wheels (51) and is fitted with a rectangular frame (14) covered by a textile sheet (16). The sheet (16) is of an appropriately elastic quality as well as air and fluid permeable. A tightening device (20) operated with a handle (26) acting on a drum (24) keeps the sheet (16) under tension. Fluids are guided into a receptacle (30) with an inclined bottom panel covering the area under the sheet (16) and above the carrying frame (50) and can be collected in a bucket (40). Air is directed into the space under sheet (16) by a fanning system (42).
