<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovery type water heater/heater capable of immediately supplying heat for heating water and for heating even if the amount of heat stored in a heat medium storage tank is lower than a set value. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust heat recovery type water heater/heater is provided with an auxiliary heat source means 50; circulation state switch means 25, 26 that allow freely switching a state between a high-load operation flow state in which part of a heat medium flows in such a way as to circulate through an exhaust heat generator 30, a heat medium storage tank 1, and a heat exchanger 2 for heating water, while the remaining heat medium flows in such a way as to circulate through the auxiliary heat source means 50 and a heat exchanger 41 for heating, and a low-load operation flow state in which the heat medium entirely flows in such a way as to circulate through the exhaust heat generator 30, the heat medium storage tank 1, the heat exchanger 2 for heating water, and the heat exchanger 41 for heating; and an operation control means 3. When the amount of heat stored in the heat medium storage tank 1 is low, the operation control means 3 switches the state to the high-load operation flow state and operates the auxiliary heat source means 50 for heating; when the amount of heat stored in the heat medium storage tank 1 is high, the operation control means 3 switches the state to the low-load operation flow state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
